The next oldest man, from Japan died on March 31. The crown now moves on to the British gent in the article below.

He claims the secret to his longevity is either fish and chips or pure luck. I’m going with the latter. I wonder if he’s willing to use some of that luck on Rapamycin… :wink:

Fish and chips got a bad rep in modern times, but actually, when I lived in GB, I was surprised how healthy traditional fish and chips are. I expected Frenchfries and fish patties McDonald style etc., but my soon favourite fishnchippy joint took a fresh fish right in front of the customer and cut real potatoes, leaving the skin, too, and much of the oils involved being from the fish.
