I think it would be a way to keep your social connections to your dead loved ones. Obviously it wouldn’t be them, but yet it would.

Not the least bit interested. Physical proximity far more important than seeing or hearing.

Living in Hong Kong, the only way I can keep in touch with my family and friends is by phone calls. So this would be similar.

I dunno. My mom used to call me every day, and I miss that. The question is whether or not an AI replication of that would be useful and comforting.
