The blue tablet has a “sketch coloring”, but actual nexlizet is also blue…

I take BrilloEZ. I can’t speak to what’s really in the blue pill but it does lower my apoB and does not give me the side effects that a statin gave me. Nor does it injure my liver in so far as my liver markers remain good. I’ve been on it for around a year now.

I’ve bought from Maulik a couple times. I communicate via WhatsApp and pay by credit card (via Stripe). No issues.

I also just got mine from Maulik.

I corresponded through email, paid with am ex, and it arrived 10 days after he sent it! He even checked with me to make sure I received my package, impressive!

I’ve been on BrilloEZ for a couple of years now, I think(?), but after repeated ApoB measurements over that time, I’m skeptical it’s doing much of anything. I’ve switched to just generic ezetimibe (from Walgreens) and will check my ApoB after about 4 weeks. I’ll then be starting Bemdac EZ (by Zydus) to see how it compares to the BrilloEZ.

Yes - I’m down in the APOB / LDL-C range of 40 to 50 now. I also take atorvastatin, 20mg.

I have been taking ezetimibe for many months and have been on Nexletol since the end of the year, all from US pharmacies.

I JUST started taking BrilloEZ.

If there is concern the combo pill isn’t effective, I’m happy to retest my Apob and share the difference, if there is any.

I’d only need to know a couple of things so it’s a fair comparison.

How long does Nexletol take for its max benefit to show up in labs? If my last lab was too soon since I started taking it, then my comparison test wouldn’t show much.

And how long would I need to be on this new combo pill for its max effectiveness to show up in labs?

Did that take care of any side effects you had from rapamycin on lipids, would they be lower without rapamycin?

I have not done the a/b testing to really answer that question, but I suspect my lipids would likely be a little lower if I was not on rapamycin. But part of my thinking is that I can test higher doses of rapamycin while at the same time I can have great lipids and glucose levels. That line of testing seems to be working for me right now, but I am constantly testing and re-evaluating.

If it really only takes a month or two, then it’s quite disappointing because my apob didn’t seem to move after adding Nexletol (brand name from the US pharmacy)!

My apob was 65 on 3/24, and since then I added ezetimibe, and that brought my apob down to 43 10/10/24

I then did a one month experiment with coconut kefir because some say that sat fat in fermented foods won’t affect your cholesterol, but it did for me. I went from 43 to 49 on 11/22

I then added Nexletol and resumed my regular diet and my apob was back to 43 on 1/31/25. I was hoping to go lower than 40 and just assumed it would take a little longer to show up.

I only started Brillo EZ a few days ago and had considered running to get another test so I could have a good benchmark, but now I’m thinking I won’t bother based on not seeing an effect after being on nexletol for over 2 months. Based on everything I’ve seen here, the Brillo EZ does work.

PS I will note I started rapa after my 3/24 labs, and even if it raised my values, ezetimibe was enough to lower my numbers from 65 to 42, so I’m not sure rapa had an effect?

Brillo EZ worked for me. ApoB from 122 to 68. It also worked for my dad. I guess everyone is different.

I’m interested in seeing more lab results for BrilloEZ. While I understand the convenience of the combined medications, I prefer the flexibility of adjusting dosages independently. In the U.S., ezetimibe is inexpensive, so for now, the best option might be to source only bempedoic acid from India.

I will be getting a couple more labs in the next 1-3 months, so I’ll get to see what is happening. I assume it will work just as well.

Yes, ezetimibe is almost free for me, and I don’t even have to pay that much for Nexletol, but all this stuff adds up, so I’m looking to save money.

I think they only offer one dose in these? The idea of 1 vs 2 pills was appealing, in light of the piles and piles of things I’m taking. For that reason, I’d even look into the cost of Nexlizet if I should source here again.

Having said that, I was surprised to see how large BrilloEZ is… probably bigger than the 2 pills combined!
