Hey everyone,

So I’ve been contributing here for a while now, though not as regularly as I used to. I finally finished something I’ve been working on for ages – a longevity guide I originally started writing for myself and friends who kept asking me questions.

It turned into a book: “The Layman’s Longevity Guide: Why Living to 120 Is Closer Than You Think”

Honestly, most of you here know way more than what’s in it, but I figured I’d share in case it’s useful for anyone who’s newer to all this or has family/friends asking where to even start. It’s got the basics (sleep, diet, exercise) but also rapamycin, acarbose, newer stuff like TPE and exosomes – basically everything I wish someone had handed me when I first got interested in this space.

It’s a short read, and it’s free on Kindle. I also give the forum an honorable mention.

Anyway, thought it might be helpful to someone. Let me know if you check it out.

Thanks so much. I really just wanted to contribute something. Hope you get something out of it. Its short but it was the culmination of a lot of research.

It’s only downloadable as an ebook at the moment. It’s possible to format it as a paperback I think. I’ll see if I can do that.
My friends have been trying to persuade me to do an audiobook version.

You should just be able to download the kindle version I believe.

Came back to say it was fantastic!! What a fabulous resource to share with friends and those who are longevity curious! I even learned about a few things I was unaware of.

It was written in a very conversational manner and quite easy for me to comprehend everything and finish in one day (you are obviously a professional writer!). If you knew my ADD brain, you would know what a miracle that it… my mind usually wanders and it takes me forever to get through anything, but not this.

This definitely lends itself to being an audiobook.

I loved that you added a glossary!!! And then after that, you listed various resources and included a quick cheat sheet so someone can just start instead of trying to navigate the vast world of competing voices.

I left you a review, too :).

Wow. Honestly, I’m flattered, and happy that you found it easy to digest, that was the intention. I felt there’s a lot of complex information out there, and well it doesn’t have to be.
Hugely appreciate the kind words and the review. I’ll look into recording the audiobook version soon.

Requirement for paperback is 24 pages minimum and for hardcover - at least 75 pages.

It’s quite a short read but it’s longer than both those. It’s probably too short for a hard cover. I purposely made it short.

I read it, enjoyed it and reviewed it. The book is a no nonsense guide and exactly as you described it. It provides a great framework for getting started.
Thanks so much for putting this resource together.

Hey Drew, thanks so much for the interest! I think message usually pops up if Amazon temporarily flags a regional restriction or cache issue.
Here’s a direct link instead: Amazon.com: The Layman's Longevity Guide: Why Living To 120 Is Closer Than You Think: A Resourse For People Interested in Aging Research and Products eBook : McKeown, Paul: Kindle Store

If that doesn’t work, you and try logging out and back into your Amazon account or switching to the U.S. store (.com).

Hope that solves the problem.

Thanks so much for the lovely review. You basically summed up what I was hoping the book would do: Give people a place to start without having to do months of research. Thanks!
