Since Spermidine enhances autophagy, I take 1 g of Spermidine the 3 days following my rapamycin dose. Rapamycin turns on autophagy and is great against cancer. So spermidine appears to be a natural rapamycin booster.

Frank Madeo is a researcher with strings attatched to spermidine industry. I am not saying the results are corrupted. But the group might have had the agenda to produce positive results. The question is, how important is the findings if they stand up after the test of time.

When it comes to spermidine, I think nature provides us with plenty of options that we can eat to get the spermadine we might need.
Soybeans (dried), will provide us with about 21 mg/100 grams.
Aged cheeses (if you dont mind the fat content) Cheddar, stilton, roquefort will provide Around 2 mg/10 gram of cheese.
Some Mushrooms (e.g., shiitake will provide Approximately 1 mg/10 grams.
Green Peas might give Approximately 4,5mg/100 grams
Mango. (If you donāt mind the fructos) Contains around 3 mg/100 grams.

I take a tablespoon of wheat germ in my breakfast āsoupā, in part because itās high in spermidine. I donāt know how bioavailable it is in this modality, but I figure at worst I get some extra fiber and trace amounts of vitamins like vit. E, which Iād rather get from food. Low risk.

Yes, as far as I know it is the problem of the oral route, i.e. stomach acid, enzymes, and first pass liver metabolism, such as with rapamycine, trehalose, testosterone,ā¦
All of them can go instead rectal. Some of them of course also transdermal, intra nasal etc., but rectal has many advantages.
